Tennent’s Wellpark Brewery has been part of Scotland and its culture for generations. Our historic brewery has been producing award winning brews since 1885 and is home to the UK’s largest beer attraction - the Tennent’s Story heritage centre!

This immersive guided experience traces the history of Scotland’s oldest brewery, from the 1500s to the present day.

Our Wellpark Brewery tours range from "access all areas" brewery tours, to beer tasting master classes.

The Visitor Centre Manager is in charge of all aspects of the visitor experience including retail, catering, events, visitor facilities and customer service to ensure every visitor to The Tennent's Story has an exceptional experience.

The Role:

As Visitor Centre Manager, your role will include:

  • Ensuring all aspects of a visitors experience is of a high quality through visitor engagement and providing excellent levels of customer service
  • Leading a team of tour guides to deliver first class informative tours
  • Business development and building strong relationships within the network of Travel Trade Operators
  • Building brand reputation and liasing with Brand Marketing
  • Identify key growth areas and develop a robust plan to deliver improvement
  • Attendance and participation at networking events to promote The Tennents Story
  • Manage all visitor centre costs and budgets – compiling reports for management review and forecasting purposes

The Person:

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Experience in a similar role – ideally within the tourism industry
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A motivated and enthusiastic personality with the ability to inspire and lead a team
  • Previous customer service experience at managerial level is essential
