Training Administrator - Tennent’s Training Academy

Tennent’s Training Academy have an exciting opportunity for a Training Administrator to join our fun and friendly team on a full time basis.

Tennent's Training Academy is a dedicated Hospitality Industry based Training Academy in Scotland offering a fresh approach to learning new skills with exciting cookery classes, legislative hospitality trade courses and inspirational teaching in a unique environment.

The Role:

The Training Administrator reports to the Head of Training & Events and is supported by The Head of Leisure & events and works alongside the other key Tennent’s Training Academy Managers; Head of Sales & Business Development, The Compliance Training Manager and The Visitor Centre Manager. You will be Liaising with all key people within Tennent’s Training Academy, Tennent’s Visitor Centre & The G1 Group when necessary whilst maintaining the highest possible standard in training, compliance and guest services.

Our Training Administrator is responsible for the day to day training administration tasks including looking after funding application, all training & events enquiries and general admin tasks as and when required.  This person reports to and is supported by the Head of Training & Events and together will ensure all tasks relating to awarding body administration are completed to the standard set and within the timescales set by the awarding bodies and Head of Training & Events

This role also involves attending meetings, Invigilation, hosting ad hoc leisure events, any office or administrative duties, ensuring all awarding body policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and general assistance with the Training Academy when required.

The Person:

We are looking for a candidate with experience in an administrative role and a passion for delivering excellent customer service is a must!

Candidates must also:

  • Have a clear PVG certificate (or be willing to apply for a PVG)
  • Have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Have good time management skills and be able to manage enquires and tasks in a timely manner.
  • Have fantastic communication skills both written and oral and be confident when speaking to customers and fellow members of the wider team.
  • Have strong computer skills with Microsoft office knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word.

This role will be offered on a full time permanent basis (45 hours per week).

Full driving license is required and the ability to work evenings and weekends.
