We are looking for a friendly, self - motivated and creative individual who can drive corporate and events sales in our well known and loved venue, The Ghillie Dhu.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, creative, and outgoing individual who can drive corporate and leisure sales. We would require the individual to proactively seek new sales leads as well as retaining existing clients. Candidates must be organized and to be able to work independently and within a team.
Key aspects of the role include events organization, booking events, diary management, issuing contracts, attention to detail, good customer service skills and the ability to up sell. Additionally you will have responsibility in ensuring events diary is kept up-to-date and respond to enquiries in a timely manner with correct information and that this is communicated out to the events team.
You will also be required to complete office administration tasks such as: maintaining filing system, processing mail, dispatching brochures and other literature to new enquiries.
Applicants need to have the ability to multi-task; be diplomatic and patient, presentable, enthusiastic and hardworking and work well within a team. Previous events experience is a must and a working knowledge of social media is desirable.
Hours of work will be varied and require flexibility as you will be required to include nights and weekends, to meet the demands of the business.
