Named for the ground-breaking national newspaper who took up residence in these beautiful Baroque buildings, The Scotsman of today is a luxury hotel which retains many original features, including luxurious floor to ceiling wood panelled rooms, grandiose marble staircase and stained glass windows. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and hardworking hotel receptionist to join our expanding team. Experience is preferred but not essential however, personality and a customer focused attitude is a must!

 As a member of our reception team your primary focus will be to ensure that each of our guests receives the warmest and most genuine of welcomes; you will be responsible for ensuring that they are checked in and checked out efficiently with minimal disruption. You will be fantastic at dealing with guest enquiries and providing as much information about the hotel, our services and the local area is an important aspect of your role.

 You will be required to work shift work which will include evening and weekend work.

 You will enjoy working with others, have a great "can do" approach to customer service and importantly have a friendly approach to everyone who you come in contact with. A full induction into the role will be given; you will also be expected to attend on-going training as required.
