We are currently looking for an experienced General Manager to join The Vic, St Andrews, our popular pub, kitchen and social club.

The Vic covers everything from a quiet pint to live DJs, functions, club nights, cocktail master classes and family-friendly dining, it's a popular venue with a great reputation and an excellent product offering. 

In order to continue offering the great service our guests expect, we're on the lookout for an experienced General Manager to join the team. 

Our aim is to ensure that we not only meet, but we exceed every customer’s expectations ensuring that they will return time and time again. We are dedicated to setting high standards within the industry and it’s because of our highly talented, innovative people who thrive in this fast-paced environment, that we make this happen.

As General Manager you will be challenged with managing all aspects of the Unit and encouraged to develop the business as if it were your own.

This exciting role involves developing sales; ensuring costs are effectively controlled, whilst ensuring staff are consistently and regularly trained to deliver an outstanding experience to our customers on every occasion.

As General Manager, you will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety legislation.

Previous experience of managing and developing complex bar and restaurant establishments is essential for the role. You must also be able to lead and motivate a team, and communicate with people at all levels. Committed and competitive, you will have a strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the current market place.
