The Palm Court Hotel is one of Aberdeen’s most established and thriving hotels. It features The Bothy Restaurant, the Whisky Bar, a custom built Wedding Ceremony Room; three further meeting rooms, event and function rooms, along with 23 stylishly designed contemporary bedrooms.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and hardworking  individual  to join our team as the hotels new General Manager.

As General Manager you will be managing all aspects of the venue and will be encouraged to develop the business as if it were your own, while engaging with head office support, internal stakeholders, suppliers, in-house staff and of course, guests. 

You will need to be all things to all people. You will be experienced in hotels, catering, business, proactive in generating and driving sales, inspirational to your team, effectively managing and motivating them to meet and exceed personal and business objectives. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety legislation.  Ensuring that every guest who arrives and leaves the establishment has a comfortable and memorable experience, will be your most important objective. 

You will have experience managing and developing licensed business in a high volume and quality venue, be confident in managing a large team over multiple departments and be able to communicate with people at all levels while remaining committed and competitive. You will have a strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the current market place.
