Due to continued growth, we’re currently on the lookout for a Designate General Manager to join a popular, established and busy site where you'll be working alongside a passionate and enthusiastic team. A charismatic & motivated leader is what we are looking for to ensure that team members are energised and highly trained at all times.
As Designate General Manager you will be challenged with managing all aspects of the Unit and encouraged to develop the business as if it were your own. We are passionate about driving the venue forward to be as successful as possible.
Committed and competitive, the successful candidate must strive to be ensure the venue is incomparable in its marketplace. They will have strong commercial acumen and cost-control abilities. This exciting role involves developing sales; ensuring costs are effectively controlled, whilst ensuring staff are consistently and regularly trained to deliver an outstanding experience to our customers on every occasion. A strong people leader is required this role - ideally you will have experience of managing a large team of front of house and back of house staff.
You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Licensing and Health & Safety legislation.
Previous experience of managing and developing complex bar and restaurant establishments is essential for the role. You must also be able to lead and motivate a team, and communicate with people at all levels. Committed and competitive, you will have a strong commercial acumen and knowledge of the current marketplace.
