Deputy General Manager – Biddy Mulligan’s - Edinburgh

Biddy Mulligans is Edinburgh’s best loved Irish bar with a lively, fun atmosphere, a wide range of drinks and an extensive daily food menu. Playing host to a range of live music with local bands and musicians seven nights a week, is also any true sports fans destination to watch their favourite event with live coverage of all major sporting events.

Ran side by side is the Wee Pub, a cosy nook with a focus on Scottish products, whiskeys and food & quirky cocktail pop ups, including the popular Grassmarket Gin Club. 

We are now looking for a Deputy General Manager who can inspire their team and help lead this well-loved establishment on to further heights.

The Role:

As Deputy General Manager, your role will include:

• supporting sales growth
• controlling costs
• Ensuring consistently excellent customer service is delivered.
• Managing service standards and staff development.
• accountability for specific shifts and the full unit in the absence of senior management

The Person:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Great leadership skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a social environment.
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• A strong commercial awareness
• Availability to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as per business needs.
