Chefs All Levels - Recruitment Open Day – Thursday 27th June - Ghillie Dhu - 10am-3pm

 

We are recruiting Chefs of all levels to join our teams in Edinburgh for the busy Summer and Edinburgh Fringe Festival season

Become part of creating one of Europe’s biggest and most popular festivals! For 3 weeks in August 2018, thousands of performers take to the stage all over Edinburgh and perform shows that are suitable for everyone’s taste whether it be comedy, dance, circus, opera and much more! The Edinburgh Fringe festival will be here to cater for everyone and your help is needed!

As the Edinburgh Fringe festival approaches, we are looking to take on a small army of hard working individuals on a Fixed Term basis however we also have various permanent positions also on offer. You will ideally be friendly, hard-working and as excited about the festival as we are! We are currently looking to take on chefs of all levels and that includes:

  • Head Chef
  • Sous Chef
  • Junior Sous
  • Senior Chef De Partie
  • Chef De partie
  • Commis chef
  • Prep Chef


Ideally, you will have experience in the chef level you apply for as well as experience working within a similar, fast paced, busy, customer focused environment.

You will have the responsibility of looking after all aspects of the kitchen environment – compliance with legislation and food production. You will work closely with every member of the kitchen team to ensure that high-quality dishes are produced consistently to exceed customer expectations

These roles are all on a Fixed Term Contract but there is potential for hard working, talented candidates to progress within the company and be considered for permanent positions at the end of the Fixed Term (for some venues we have permanent roles available now also)

With multiple vacancies in various venues to fill we are holding a Recruitment Open Day to give all you budding kitchen staff the opportunity to come along and meet with our Senior Chef Teams from the local venues.
