We are currently looking to recruit a talented Assistant Manager for Forgan's restaurant in St Andrew’s.
We work with the best local artisans who believe in sustainable agriculture. We pride ourselves on providing mouth-watering dishes made from this sustainable produce, in a skylit, industrial-chic space.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be a vital member of the management team. You will be challenged with supporting sales growth, the control of costs, achievement of margins, and also ensuring staff training is delivered to guarantee quality food, great service, and impeccable standards. Our aim is to ensure that our customers enjoy every part of the Forgan’s experience; from the welcome they receive when they arrive, to the delicious dishes they will enjoy in our relaxed atmosphere to the warm goodbye as they leave the venue. As Assistant Manager, your role is vital in ensuring their experience exceeds their expectations every time they visit.
During the absence of senior management, Assistant Managers may be required to assume accountability for specific shifts, therefore, you will be willing to accept this responsibility and not be averse to making decisions.
You must be able to communicate at all levels, be effective when managing people, be dedicated and have strong commercial awareness.
This role involves varied shift patterns including evenings and weekends.
