The Doll’s House in the heart of St Andrews specialises in freshly prepared traditional Scottish cuisine, with an impressive range of seafood, game and Scottish beef dishes. We are currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join the team.
As an Assistant Manager, you will be a vital member of the management team. You will be challenged with supporting sales growth, the control of costs, achievement of margins, and also ensuring staff training is delivered to guarantee quality food, great service, and impeccable standards. Our aim is to ensure that our customers enjoy every part of the Doll’s House experience; from the welcome they receive when they arrive, to the delicious dishes they will enjoy to the warm goodbye as they leave the venue. As Assistant Manager, your role is vital in ensuring their experience exceeds their expectations every time they visit.
During the absence of senior management, Assistant Managers may be required to assume accountability for specific shifts, therefore, you will be willing to accept this responsibility and not be averse to making decisions.
You must be able to communicate at all levels, be effective when managing people, be dedicated and have strong commercial awareness.
This role involves varied shift patterns including evenings and weekends.
